I have the following satraps earn tips and pointers on making money online for quite a while, and I thought it's time that I have something to contribute real value to the blog (and blogger), whose input has helped me to reach several important conclusions on Internet marketing.
We all know that there are many ways to make money online - different markets and niches in itself, revenue models, advertising and membership options and the list goes on. The variety is overwhelming, and while I was a little deeper, you could dive into this one I'd rather leave it to the satrap, and what I believe, to focus the common denominator for virtually all online marketing methods.
No matter which method you go for the monetization of traffic generation is crucial to your success. Search engines send incredible masses of people in almost every direction, and by the "direction" I mean query. It would be unwise (the understatement of the century if you ask me) to ignore search engine traffic in your endeavor to make money online, and the first step of development, the potential wave of conversions is keyword research.
Discover your niche and niches as well as closely related. Get a comprehensive list of relevant keywords together, and conducting a thorough keyword research isolating the keywords that are both very popular (after), and relatively easy in terms of existing competition ranking. It is well known that short tail keywords are usually very popular, but at the same time they tend to be the hardest competition for their high levels of rank. That's why I always recommend, especially for long tail keywords, both specific (and usually as a result closer to sales) and look relatively easy to rank highly. Not low search engine ranking of your website means getting the exposure it needs, in order to attract search engine traffic. Think about it - what would be better to appear on 15 SERP page has a high relevance and competitive query that an average daily move of 10000 inputs, or ranking first on seven different yet relevant long tail queries, each train on average 2000-3000 unique inputs? You get the idea.
It takes time and creative ideas, but a properly conducted keyword research, including the right keyword research tool, the investment is worth the long term.
